The Salem Community High School Board acted on a number of resignations and appointments at the Monday night school board meeting.
The board accepted the resignations of Dylan Courty as physical education teacher at the end of this year, the resignation of main office secretary Nikki Niepoetter as main office secretary effective June 1st, Marissa Wooters as dance team coach and Matt Donoho as student council sponsor effective June 1st.
The board extended the contract of first year assistant principal Kelsey Pogue from its current expiration date of July 1st through June 30th, 2028.
The board hired Madison Lybarger as science teacher for next school year, Thomas Goff as head cross-country coach, Saegan Phillips as assistant cross-country coach, Tyler Vincent as assistant football coach, and Tony Dial as prom decoration committee member.
The board also re-employed probationary teachers Jackie Malan, Savannah Kuhns, Connor Brooks, Katelyn Green, Kacey Puricelli, Trevor Corry and Elizabeth Smith.
