Centralia Business and Professional Women are having an Equal Pay Day Rally on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Centralia American Legion. City Manager Galen Mahle will speak at the event along with other speakers and student essay contest winners from St. Mary’s School and Centralia High School. Contest winners will be presented with a check for $100 each.
The event will also feature local vendors and information booths providing resources on workplace rights and salary negotiation.
Following the speakers, there will be a symbolic march from the American Legion to Centralia City Hall.
