A 20-year-old Centralia man has been arrested for burglary to the Centralia Walmart store.  Centralia Police say James VanScoy of North Cherry had earlier been trespassed from the store, so his arrest for allegedly taking items from the store on Wednesday was elevated to burglary.  He was given notice to appear in court.

Centralia Police are investigating a residential burglary at a vacant home in the 1300 block of Cedar Street.  The owner noticed the home entered with liquor and copper piping missing.   Police say they have a suspect, but no one has been arrested.

Centralia Police say cash was reportedly stolen from a motor vehicle that was entered Wednesday in the 600 block of McKee Street.

Centralia Police are also investigating a lock broke off a shed at 516 Cedar on Tuesday.

Police also report they recovered a car stolen from Jefferson County parked at the Centralia Food Mart parking lot in the 600 block of East 13th on Tuesday.
