An investigation is underway to see if there is a connection between a Wisconsin bank robbery and a convicted murderer who broke out of a Tennessee prison.

28-year-old Jacob Morley is believed to have left a truck he had stolen from near the prison in the parking lot of a shopping center in Marion, Illinois early Tuesday morning.

Marion Police say they have no sightings or any other vehicle thefts reported in the area.

Then the Dane County, Wisconsin Sheriff’s Office reported a bank robbery late Wednesday afternoon where video showed the armed man looked similar to Morley.    The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and stole a car from the parking lot which was found abandoned a short distance away.  A search began with a drone and K9 but the suspect could not be located.

A $15,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Morley’s arrest.
