Marion County Coroner Claude Howell says an autopsy determined a 44-year-old rural Salem man found dead in the back yard of his home on February 16th died from an intestinal bleed.
Anthony Travis was found by his neighbor who called for help. Travis lived alone and appears to have died Monday morning.
Howell says a Marion County Sheriff’s Detective and State Police DCI agent attended the autopsy in case something unusual was found, but that turned out not to be the case, and the death will be listed as from natural causes.
