Central City is the champion of the North Wamac 7th Grade Tournament, beating Raccoon 33 to 29 for the title. Central City was led by Bo Goowey with 17 and Braxton Bitter with ten. Raccoon was led by Wyatt Squibb with ten points.
Trinity Lutheran took third place, beating New Horizon 47 to 40. Trinity Lutheran was led by Krue Huels with 28 points. New Horizon was led by Jhovany Castelman with 20.
In the consolation championship, Odin beat St. Mary ‘ s-Centralia/Willow Grove 52 to 29. Odin was led by Messiah Moore with 27 points and Eli Southerland with 14. St. Mary’s Willow Gr0rve was led by Levi Lund with nine points.
The tournament’s Most Valuable Player is Bo Goowey of Central City. Others making the All-Tournament Team are Braxton Bitter and Hayden Oller of Central City, Oliver Worlds and Logan Brammeier of Raccoon, Jhovani Castelman and Holden Tyberendt of New Horizon, Krue Huels and Broady Neuhaus of Trinity Lutheran, and Messiah Moore and Eli Southerland of Odin.
