The Salem Police Department has arrested a Chicago area woman for residential burglary, felony criminal trespass, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Salem Police Chief Todd Boles says Christina Sosnowski of West Dundee had been at a home in the 1100 block of North Franklin Monday night where an argument had occurred with a significant other.   She reportedly returned just before three Tuesday morning when she made forceable entry to the home.  While in the home, she alleged stole some prescription drug pills and had an item that tested positive for cocaine residue.

Sosnowski was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a final decision on charges.
