A 20-year-old Salem woman was ordered held in the Marion County Jail without bond after being formally charged in court Thursday with six counts related to a February 10th altercation in Centralia.  Two of the charges against Kjay Bumgarner of South Pearl accuse her of violation her pretrial release on prior domestic battery related charges against the same victim.

Bumgarner was charged with aggravated domestic battery, three counts of domestic battery and two counts of violation of conditions of pretrial release on both February 10th and 11th.   The aggravated domestic battery charge accuses her of impeding the breathing of the alleged victim.  Two of the domestic battery charges claim Bumgarner struck the victim in the phase while the third claims she spit on the victim.

Judge Ericka Sanders found clear and convincing evidence that Bumgarner violated the terms of pretrial release by committing new offenses against the same victim.  She was ordered to remain in jail until her March 10th preliminary hearing and first appearance with attorney.
