New Horizon’s season came to an end at the in the Class S quarterfinals at Rend Lake College losing to Summersville 43-34. Hunter Malekovic had 15 to lead the Crusaders with Asher Veller adding 7.
Summersville advances to Thursday’s semifinals to take on Jasper who eliminated Albers/Damiansville 45-26. Ewing nipped St John’s Lutheran 45-41 and Bartelso routed New Athens 61-37.
The Class M semifinals are tonight. Nashville and Shiloh play at 6pm followed by Pinckneyville and NCOE.
