Salem wrestlers Alana Finney and Talya Gowler competed at the Granite City Regionals over the weekend.
Alana earned a 1st round bye in her division. She then needed just 23 seconds to pin Mascoutah’s Chloe Simpson before her run ended with a loss to Roxie Royster of Murphysboro.
Gowler won her opening match over Saniyah Young of Belleville East. She then lost to Dakota Bell of Cahokia and Aleah DAvidson of West Frankfort to end her tournament.
