The Class S State boys basketball tournament opens at Rend Lake College today. Selmaville and Jasper tip off at 9:30, Summersville and Coulterville play at 12, New Horizon and Pope County at 1:15. The state quarterfinals are Monday.

Last night Class M opened with Nashville beating Unity Point 47-14. They play Shiloh on Tuesday in the semifinals. Pinckneyville and NCOE play in the other semifinal.

The Class L Tournament opens up next Saturday, and Franklin Park will play in their first state tournament in 20 years as they take on Belleville Whiteside next Saturday at 10:45.
