The Salem freshman Lady Cats saw a 9-point lead after three quarters dissolve as Effingham outscored them 18-5 in the final quarter to pull out the 39-36 victory at Effingham. Kinley Eagan led Salem with 11, Brinn Kessler added 9 and Shelby Johnson 8.
