Franklin Park punched their ticket to their regional championship after beating Carlyle 60-20 at the Bobcat Den. Salem led 30-2 at the halftime break. Ben Lux had 23 points, Kaiden Washington added a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds and Eli Purdy had 5 assists with 9 points from Emit Gibson and Tanner Purintun.
Salem advances to Thursday’s finals at Wesclin when they play Centralia as they upset Wesclin 54-51 in overtime.
In Class S regional finals, Ewing beat the hosts at Bluford 49-44.
