Franklin Park Bobcats open up Regional play tonight at home when they host Carlyle at 5:30. At the same time, Wesclin hosts Centralia. The two winners will play for the regional title on Thursday night at Wesclin. The winner of that game will advance to the State Tournament and play the winner of Region 5 hosted by Belleville Whiteside.
Also tonight, Carbondale will host Herrin followed by Johnston City and Carterville.
In Region 2, Marion takes on Eldorado followed by Massac and Harrisburg.
Casey Mt Vernon plays the hosts at Hamilton County followed by Central and Benton.
