In Class M last night, Nashville was 3rd as they beat Breese All Saints Academy 36-33. Smithton finished their season undefeated as they won the state title over Okawville 31-18.
Tonight is the SIJHSAA Girls Class L state trophy games. DuQuoin and Hamilton County will play for 3rd place at 3:30 followed by the title game between Herrin and Wesclin.
The Class S state semifinals were last night with trophy games today. Albers Damiansville knocked off New Hope 40-27 and Summersville beat Holy Childhood Mascoutah 38-30. The 3rd place game starts at 6:30 and the championship tonight at 8.
