The boys regionals started across the southern part of Illinois as well. North Wamac/Irvington/Grand Prairie opened Region 13 with a win over Ashley 49-39. Zander Gunter had 20 and Levi Newcomb 15 in the win. They they fell to Summersville 83-17 in the semifinal.
Also in Class S regionals, New Horizon over Central City 19-11 and Raccoon beat Rome 40-32.
In Class M, Pinckneyville beat Zeigler 45-16, Nashville over Breese All Saints 67-11 and Breese beat Okawville 58-26.
