A 22-year-old Centralia woman received minor first degree burns to her hand in a kitchen fire at her home early Wednesday night.
Centralia Fire Chief Jeff Day identifies the woman as the owner of the home, 22-year-old Desiree Najewski of 329 North Walnut Street. She was treated at the scene by the fire department and declined hospital treatment.
Firemen report the stove fire was out on their arrival. There was no fire damage reported. A small amount of smoke was removed from the kitchen.
The fire was reported at 5:53 Wednesday evening.
