Salem Police arrested a 58-year-old Salem woman on an outstanding Marion County no bond misdemeanor warrant and possession of methamphetamine. Police say they had given Ann Marie Antonaccio of West Schwartz a ride. But when they ran her name, they discovered she was wanted on the warrant. A search prior to taking Antonaccio to jail turned up a container with a white substance in her possession that allegedly tested positive for methamphetamine. Antonaccio was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a final decision on charges.
Salem Police arrested 29-year-old Crystal Hamilton of South Yoos of Central City for domestic battery after being called to a disturbance at a home in the 500 block of Cottonwood Drive late Wednesday night. She is accused of shoving a resident causing him to lose his balance. Hamilton was also taken to the Marion County Jail to await further court action.
Centralia Police arrested 23-year-old Corey White of East Rasback in Centralia on outstanding Marion, Clinton, and St. Clair County warrants. He was released on pre-trial conditions on the Marion County case and then transported to Clinton County.
Centralia Police are investigating two car burglaries with criminal damage to property in the parking lot of Arizona Joe’s at 1435 South Hickory on January 26th.
Centralia Police are investigating a burglary to a shed at a home in the 1400 block of Hester Street. Criminal damage to the building was also reported.
