Benton: Benton moved into the finals of the Benton Invitational beating Flora 42-27 in the semifinals. They will play next Saturday against Carterville who beat Hamilton County 60-38. The 3rd place game will also be next weekend.
Okawville: At Okawville today, Wesclin will play Columbia in the 11:30 finals. Wesclin beat Okawville in their semifinal last night 60-50 and Columbia over Carlyle 60-49. The 3rd place game is at 10.
NIT: The Nashville Invitational will finish up today. The 3rd place game will be at 10am with mater Dei taking on Mascoutah followed with the 11:30 championship featuring Breese Central and Nashville.
Last night, Central knocked off Marion 47-44 and Nashville beat Mascoutah.
Carmi: It was the final night of the Carmi Round Robin, with the hosts edging Harrisburg 48-47 and Mt Vernon, Indiana nipping Fairfield 49-47.
Johnston City: Today is the final day at Johnston City with DuQuoin taking on Eldorado and Christopher playing the host Indians.
Last night, Anna beat Eldorado 62-48 and DuQuoin 57-51 over Christopher.
Litchfield: The Litchfield Invite finishes today. Triad and Roxana play for the title after wins yesterday. Triad beat Taylorville 35-30 and Roxana over Marquette 39-35 as the losers will play for 3rd.
Glenwood takes on Civic Memorial for 5th place, Father McGivney plays the hosts for 7th.
Macoupin: Staunton beat host North Mac to win the title of the 107th Macoupin County Tournament 51-38.
Superman: At the Superman Classic today, Goreville plays Murray, Kentucky in the finals after the Blackcats beat Massac County last night 65-53. Massac and Union County lay for 3rd, Livingston Central and St Mary for the consolation finals and the 7th place game is Century and Vienna.
Sparta: At Sparta today, the championship will bee at 11:30 in Fulton Gym with Sparta and Pinckneyville playing after Murphysboro and Freeburg in the 3rd place game.
At the Dawg Pound Gym, Red Bud and Steeleville play for 5th and Marissa takes on Trico for 7th.
Last night, Pinckneyville beat Murphysboro 52-34 and in the win, Panther senior Ty Laur scored his 1000th point.
Freeburg beat Trico 48-41 and Sparta over Steeleville 72-66.
West Frankfort: Last night at West Frankfort, Cairo beat Thompsonville 76-51 and the hosts over Crab Orchard 63-46.
