Over the weekend Salem competed at the Panther Team Challenge in O’Fallon. Harrisburg won the qualifying round followed by Breese Central and Mt Vernon. Salem was 10th.
Breese Central Purple won the title after the Bakers Bracket beating Waterloo in the finals 419-391.
The Lady Cats struggled at the Lancer Classic finishing 18th after qualifying. Mascoutah won the Bakers Finals over O’Fallon Blue 349-320. The Mt Vernon girls qualified for bracket play but lost to Collinsville in their first match.
The Wildcat bowlers are at home today against Centralia.
