The Salem 3rd grade Bobcats won the St Mary’s Carlyle Tournament. On Saturday they won a pair of pool play games beating Nashville 22-16 in the opener. Kalan Heinzmann led Salem with 8. Nolan Crouse added 6 and Burke Collier added 4.
Salem then beat Vandalia 22-11. Heinzmann finished with a monster game scoring 20 points. Then Sunday, they beat the hosts in a classic title game 29-25. Heinzmann had another big game with 15 points.
