The Salem Wildcats return to Cahokia play tonight with a tough road game at Roxana. Salem enters at 9-7 on the season and 2-2 in the Cahokia, while Roxana is 11-5 overall and 3-1 in the Cahokia. Jv starts at 6 and the varsity tip on WJBD will begin around 7:30.
Christ Our Rock is at Steeleville, Mt Vernon will play at home against Marion, Patoka/Odin is at Wayne City. The Centralia Orphans are 15-1 and will host Carbondale to Trout Arena.
Last night, Mater Dei fell to St Mary’s South Side Catholic of St Louis 69-61. Gavin Peppenhorst led the Knights with 31. Beckett Wade made 8 three pointers and finished with 26. Ronnell Johnson had 23 for St Mary’s and Gary Johnson II had a monster game of 20 points and 15 rebounds. Mater Dei is 9-9 on the year and will host Carbondale tomorrow.
