The KC women knocked off Lincoln Trail their last time out 60-58. Katelyn Klipp led KC with 14 points, Brooklyn Bailey had 11 points and 15 rebounds while Kirsten Smith added 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting.
Olney Central girls host Lake Land as OCC is coming off an 86-79 loss to Danville Area on Friday. Lanie Lipps had 22 to lead OCC, Mt Vernon grad Melaina Zedalis finished with 15 points and Jamia Jones had 13 points and 13 rebounds. Off the bench for OCC, Salem’s Emma Gregg had 7, Sandoval’s Amiya Ray went 4-of-6 from the field and had 9 points and 10 rebounds. SC grad Kaitlyn Swift also played but didn’t score.
Rend Lake women will play at home against Olive Harvey College.
The KC men’s basketball team is at Oakland City.
