It’s a full day of state semifinal action at CEFCU Arena in Normal for the IHSA State Volleyball Tournament.
The 1a semifinals start the day at 9am with 38-2 NCOE taking on 35-5 Stockton followed at 10:30 by 38-1 Cissna Park and Tremont with a record of 23-17.
The 2a semi’s start at noon with 37-1 Columbia taking on 34-5 Rockford Christian followed at 1:30 by 34-5 Bloomington Central Catholic and 27-9-1 Port Byron Riverdale.
In 3a at 4, 34-6 Providence Catholic will play 36-4 Nazareth Academy followed at 5:30 by 32-7 Crystal Lake Prairie Ridge and 36-4 Normal University.
The large school semifinals start at 7pm with 33-7 Lockport Township and 38-2 Lisle Benet Academy and then the final match of the day is at 8:30 with 29-8 Palatine Fremd taking on 34-5 Chicago Marist.
