Summersville Wins Title, Woodlawn Gets W…NWIGP Gets First Win of Season

Summersville won the championship of the Unity Point Tournament as they took down Goreville 39-11.

At the Central City Tournament, Woodlawn beat St Mary’s/Willow Grove 49-25.

In boys basketball, North Wamac/Irvington/Grand Prairie improved to 1-1 on the season with a 33-31 win over Ashley. Levi Newcomb led the way with 22. The NWIGP JV lost 33-26 led by Charlie Pennington’s 11.
