Iuka won their regional opener at home over Alandale/St Mary’s 10-0. Kenzie Collier struck out 16 batters allowing one hit over six innings. They advance to the regional title game.
In Class S Region 8, Raccoon will take on Field at the Little League Complex with the winner playing top-seed Selmaville in Friday’s semifinal. Patoka will host Sandoval in another quarterfinal with the winner playing Rome in the other semi.
Also in Class S, St Mary/OBR beat Bluford 16-6, Summersville over Spring Garden 17-0 and Waltonville beat Bethel 18-3.
In Class M Region 7 play, Okawville will host Breese All Saints and Nashville welcomes Breese District 12.
Woodlawn opens in Region 8 at home against NCOE with Fairfield and Wayne City playing in the other semifinal.
