The Salem Cross Country teams ran at the Mt Vernon Invitational. Robby Shober was 6th in the boys race at 16:12 followed by Hunter Malan 13, Jacob Cape and Abram Jett both ran their best times of the season.
The girls were led by freshman Piper Morton who was 18th. Salem will run again on Saturday at the Olney Invite.
Woodlawn High cross country runner Zelena Koch medaled at the Sparta Invitational held at Brown-Stevenson City Park. She was 9th in 23:19.
