Patoka/Odin baseball plays today at home against Altamont Lutheran. The Mohawks honored their 8th graders yesterday before beating Field 14-2, scoring 11 runs in the first inning.  Nolan Eddy drove in 3 runs, Hunte4r Hyde added 2 RBI, Kru Cain scored twice as most of the 8th graders work was done after the second inning.

Franklin Park is at home against Olney after improving to 12-6 on the season beating Casey Mt Vernon 12-2.  Emit Gibson tripled going 2-3 with 4 RBI.  Tanner Purintun and Easton Keller added 2 RBI each.  Ben Lux had 2 hits with 2 runs and an RBI.  Dakota Gregg was the winning pitcher going 5 innings allowing 2 hits and no earned runs.

Iuka built a five run lead in the sixth inning and then held off Raccoon for a 6-4 win.  Vince Krajefska struck out 10 batters in his 4 innings of work to get the win.  Devan Jennings doubled with 2 hits. John Organ took the loss going 3.2 allwoing 6 hits and no earned runs with 9 ks.

The Selmaville Rockets dropped yesterday’s game to the Trinity Defenders 5-4.  Izac Holsapple went 2-4 with 2 RBI for Selmaville.

Marion routed Carbondale 16-0, Nashville 14-4 over Chester and Summersville beat Ewing 9-2.
