The Selmaville Lady Rockets notched their 17 win of the season with just 4 losses. In the win over Iuka Gabby Goostree threw a no hitter and give up two walks while striking out 9 batters. Karmen Murray had Selmaville’s only hit. The Lady Rockets received 7 walks and reached on an error 6 times. The Lady Rockets are off Tuesday and will host the Rome Honeybees on Wednesday at 4:30!
Raccoon Lady Devils won 14-4 over Bluford. Nadea Crist drove in 5 runs on two hits to lead the Lady Devils past Bluford. Julianna Rushing went 4-4 with an RBI, Lilly Wynn 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Kloey Wuehler 1-2 with an RBI. Mya Hanke, Amyah Williams, Emerie Clucks each with an RBI as well. Nadea earned the win for the Lady Devils, she allowed 3 hits and 4 runs (2 earned) over 5 innings, striking out 7 and walking 1. Raccoon Lady Devils will travel to St. Mary’s Mt. Vernon for their game on Tuesday.
Field lost to St Mary/Willow Grove 19-0 as the Wildcards threw a combined no-hitter.
Flora beat Dieterich 9-4, Herrin shutout Carbondale 22-0, St Mary Mt Vernon over Bethel 16-0.
