A 31-year-old rural Kinmundy man was flown from the scene of a motorcycle crash Monday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Department Reports indicate Nicholas Fletcher of Butts Road in Kinmundy was traveling southbound on the 6000 block of Meachum Road near the Wilcoxin Road intersection in rural Kinmundy when he struck a deer that had come onto the road.
Kinmundy-Alma Firemen and United Medical Response were both called to the scene to assist. Fletcher was airlifted by Air Evac to a St. Louis Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The crash occurred at 7:56 on Monday morning.
