Jacob Butts was dominant on the hill, striking out 11 as Selmaville beat Raccoon 5-4. He allowed 2 hits and 4 runs over 5.1 innings. The Rockets scored 3 times in the bottom of the seventh to walk it off. Isaac Knapp scored 3 times at the top of the lineup. John Organ led Raccoon with 2 hits and 2 runs with an RBI. Organ also pitched 6 dominant innings allowing just 1 hit and 1 earned run with 12 strikeouts in the no decision.
The SC Falcons will travel to Ramsey after a 9-3 win over Altamont yesterday. Rubin Roberts led the Falcons with 3 hits. Ryker Lane and Jordan Smith drove in 2 runs each. Luke Guerrettaz had 2 hits. Also with RBI for SC were Nate Knutt, Guerrettaz and Roberts. Jayden Gullion singled and scored.
