The Salem Lady Wildcats opened up their volleyball season with an impressive win at home over Effingham. The varsity won 25-21, 25-23. The JV opened the night with a 25-8, 26-24 victory. The Lady Wildcats team travels to Flora tonight.
Also last night, Althoff beat Carlyle, Benton over Woodlawn, Fairfield defeated Olney, Okawville over Greenville and St Elmo/Brownstown beat Okaw Valley.
