Martin George McIntire, 72, of Salem passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Martin graduated from Eastern Illinois University. While attending, he was inducted into the Eastern Illinois Athletic Hall of Fame for Cross Country.
Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka is privileged to be assisting the family of Martin McIntire with arrangements. A graveside celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Patoka City Cemetery in Patoka.
He was born on August 9, 1948 the son of Willard and Adeline (Pydo) McIntire in Chicago.
