The Salem Lady Wildcats honored their senior volleyball players last night before beating Wesclin in three sets 25-21, 22-25 and 25-9. The Varsity team’s season ends at 7-10 in coach Nicki Brubaker’s first year on the bench. The freshmen started off the night by winning in straight sets and the JV won in 3 to finish their year at 8-9.
South Central improved to 12-5 with their 30-28, 25-15 win over Dieterich. The jV also won in straight sets to improve to 11-6. SC will have the NTC tournament tomorrow to finish up their season. Halle Smith had 13 kills in the win and Sydnee Garrett finished with 16 digs.
