The Salem volleyball team returns to action tonight with a Cahokia matchup at Freeburg. Salem is coming off a good night last night against Carlyle.
The freshman won their game in two sets. 13-21 and 15-21. The JV also won in two sets 23-25 and 21-25. The JV record is now 7-8. The varsity finished the night with a win in two sets 25-9 and 25-22. The varsity record is now 6-9. Senior night will be on Thursday against Wesclin.
South Central improved to 11-5 with their 25-15, 25-10 victory over North Clay. Halle Smith had 6 kills, Madyson Magnus 7 assists, Sydnee Garrett 2 aces and 8 digs. The Lady Cougars JV won 25-5, 25-22 to improve to 10-6. SC will play at Dieterich tomorrow.
The Centralia Annies honored their seniors and then beat Fairfield 25-18, 25-21. Seniors for the Annies are Natalie Edson, Lauren Miley and Tess Timmons.
