The Salem 12u traveled to Albers Sunday and beat the Clinton County Chaos 14-0 in six innings.
Payton Gullion and Aaden Rostance each worked 3 innings to combine for the shutout. Gullion struck out 6 and Rostance 4 with the two scattering 6 hits.
Starter Payton Gullion earned the win with 3 solid shutout innings and 6 ks.
At the plate, Gullion had 2 hits and scored 3 runs, Wyatt McCarty had 2 hits and drove in 3, Rostance and Keytin Grawe drove in 2 each with Landon Maxey also adding an RBI.
Aaden Rostance closed down the game with 3 shutout innings and 4 ks.
Caleb Purintun reached base 3 times and scored 3 runs. Riley Tate also scored along with Avery Gullion and Zane Dodson added an RBI.
