Salem Wildcats 11u Travel baseball team came out on top this Sunday at home as they played a twi-match with Aviston Lumberjacks and Centralia 618.
Salem defeated Aviston 10-4 in the first game. Landon White got the win on the mound for Salem. He threw 4 1/3 innings with 5 strike outs and he gave up 2 hits. Kyler King, Avery East, and Scout Puricelli all were 1 for 2 with an RBI each. Drake Rector was 1 for 1 with a walk and a run scored.
In the second game Salem came back in the bottom of the 5th to beat Centralia 618, 9-6 after being down 4-6. Colton Tockstein picked up the win on the mound allowing 1 earned run on two hits over 5 1/3 innings, in relief of Kyler King. Colton was 1 for 2 with a double. Kyler King was 2 for 2 with a double and RBI. Silus Lux was 1 for 2. Jaxon ward was 1 for 1 with a walk. Caleb Squibb was 1 for 1. Brady Cain was 2 for 2 for Centralia 618 with a double.
