The KC softball team split a double header at Frontier College yesterday winning the opener 6-0. Shelby Houchlei improved to 14-5 in the circle with a perfect game, 21 up and 21 down. She finished with 5 strikeouts and 0 walks. Callie Leuking, Brooklynn Smith, Lauren Brown and Jadiyn Ackerman had 2 hits each.
KC dropped the 2nd game 10-7. Makayla Lane took the loss. Smith and Brown both went 3-4 with 2 doubles.
The 13th ranked Blue Angels Soccer team is 2-0 and will play host to Parkland College today.
