The top seed Franklin Park Lady Bobcats advanced to tomorrow night’s regional finals in Centralia after knocking off 4th seed Casey Mt Vernon 46-36. The Rams fought hard and stayed in the game the entire way. Emma Gregg led Salem with 27 points and 11 steals in the game.
Salem will get Centralia in the title game as the 3rd seed knocked off #2 Hamilton County 40-34 in overtime. Centralia would get a free throw from Aliyah Rush in the game’s final seconds to tie and send it to overtime where the Tigerettes would outscore the Lady Foxes 7-1 to pull off the win. Josiah Wallace finished with 15 points and 12 blocked shots for Centralia in the win.
At Selmaville, the top seeded Lady Rockets beat Patoka in their semifinal 43-7. Natalie Lee had 15 and Lauren Burge 12 for the Rockets. They advance to the finals tomorrow night at 6pm against New Horizon after they eliminated Raccoon 42-8.
