The driver of a car went to a local hospital for treatment after colliding with a small school bus in Vernon Friday afternoon.
State Police say the car was traveling northbound on US 51 at the Lair Street intersection when the bus entered onto the highway and the two collided. The bus driver was not hurt. The report does not indicate if there were any passengers on the bus.
The report does not indicate the names of the two drivers or the owner of the bus.
The crash occurred at 2:58 Friday afternoon.
