Christ Our Rock competed at the Breese Central Open that was cut short due to lightning. Landyn Mitchell won the 110 hurdles and long jump. Carson Pigg won the 3200 and Rylee Brammeier won the women’s 3200 meter run. Zerek Koch was 2nd in the 3200. Wyatt Gregory 3rd in the 800.
In other highlights from the day, Central’s Noah Hunt won the 400, Ian Toennies the triple jump, Noah Goebel won the 800 and Regan Wommer tied for first in the 100. Wesclin’s Nick Hutcheson won the shot and discus. Zaner Kapp won the pole vault and Landon Rives tied for first in the 100.
In the girls meet, Central sophomore Payten Hollenkamp won the 100 and high jump, Mabry Benhoff won the long jump and triple jump. Celia Heulsmann won the discus and Kendyl Poettker the shot put whiel Kylei Rakers won the pole vault. Mater Dei’s Kayden Barriger won the 300m hurdles.
Centralia competed at Triad. Arion Hill broke the school record in the 110 hurdles with a time of 13.92 after the hand time conversion. Arion also won the 300 hurdles in 39.37. Leonard Bratton won the triple jump, KaiVeric Bratton won the 100 in 11.07 and the 200. He was 2nd in the high jump. Jaxson Hancock won the 800.
