Paul David Arnold, 78, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 3:03 pm March 8, 2021 at his residence. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He retired from World Color Press and then worked as a maintenance man at the local veteran’s physician office. He was a member of the American Legion Post 141 and the DAV. Paul loved his siblings, but most of all, was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He was a faithful member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Mount Vernon. Paul will be greatly missed.

Paul is survived by his sisters, Karen Skaggs and husband, Samuel of The Villages, Florida, Linda Yates of Portland, Texas, and Judy Propes of Mount Vernon. and several nieces and nephews.

He was born April 2, 1942 in Salem, Illinois to the late Thomas Everett and Marie B. (McDonald) Arnold. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his siblings, John Robert Arnold, Tom Arnold, Wilma White, and Faye Messer.
