The Blue Angels softball team traveled to Harrisburg to take on Southeastern Illinois. They won the opening game 19-9. Marion native Ivy Smart hit a grand slam in the first inning. Shelby Houchlei picked up her 9th win of the season. The 2nd game, KC was winning 6-1 when rain suspended the game. It will resume as part of a triple header later in April. The Blue Angels are 13-9 on the season.
The KC baseball team dropped their game with Lincoln Trail 5-2 with the 2nd game postponed due to rain and will be made up Tuesday.
