The Salem 10-u Wildcats improved to 3-1 on the year after their sweep of Flora yesterday at the Little League Complex. Salem won the opener 15-5. Jared Crompton and Owen Tennyson drove in a pair each for Salem with RBI also from Zane Applegate and Jax Schaubert. Bentley Bryan worked the first 2 innings allowing 2 hits and one run to earn the win. Applegate, Jayce Keller and Kai Graham also worked on the mound in the win.
In the 2nd game, Salem jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the top of the first and rolled 13-6. Crompton and Drew Consolino drove in 2 runs each for Salem. Graham, Bryan and Rhett Starnes also added RBI. Schaubert, Consolino, Kellen Nix, Crompton and Tennyson each worked an inning in the victory.
