The Kaskaskia College men and women’s basketball games at Lincoln Trail were postponed last night due to a positive Covid Case in the men’s program and a close contact on the women’s team. Both KC teams are back in action at home on Saturday when they host Vincennes. The women tip at 1 and the men at 3.
The KC men is 7-7 overall and 6th in the District Standings as they are 10-8 overall. Lincoln Trail is 9-7.
Last night in men’s basketball, Olney Central strengthened its lead for 2nd in the District standings with a 74-69 win over Wabash Valley. Elijah Farr led OCC with 13 points to improve the Knights to 13-6 overall and 10-5 in the Region.
SWIC handed Lake Land a 96-67 loss to improve to 11-8 overall behind Jack Marinko with 24 points, 18 of them in the first half and he hit 6 three’s in the opening twenty minutes and added a seventh in the second half.
Lewis & Clark had their game at Vincennes canceled with a positive Covid test involving the Lewis & Clark team. The quarantine will end their season at 1-13.
Shawnee at John A Logan was postponed by request from Shawnee coach John Sparks.
