Salem Wildcat Tracksters Head To SIU-C Indoor This Weekend After Successful Opening Meet At Principia

The Salem Wildcats indoor track season opened up on Friday with a trip to Principia College.

There were several highlights on the day including freshman Silus Lux with a shot put throw of 44-07. The Fresh/Soph 4×400 relay team of Alex Spencer, Payton Gullion, Avery Gullion and Jace Morton medaled and were 5^th in a time of 3:51.85. Madden Thompson was 5^th in the high jump at 6-foot. Robbie Shober 4^th in the 3200 in 10:21.98. Payton Gullion set a new PR in the 400 in a time of 55.74 good for 8^th out of 45 runners.

The Salem boys are back at it at the SIU-Carbondale indoor on Friday.
