Franklin Park Wins State Bowling Title, Girls 4th Overall

The Franklin Park Bobcats are the 2021 Middle School State Bowling Champions.  They beat Herrin 3075-3060 with Carterville and Grant a distant 3^rd and 4^th.  All 4 of Salem’s bowlers were in the top 15.  Ryan Detering was 3^rd with an 833, Silas Moats 4^th with 832, Rhett Detering 11^th with a 707 and Wes Hunter 12^th.  The Bobcats were behind going into the 4^th game and buckled down with a 799 final game to win the state title.

The Girls title was won by Collinsville with 2411, Wesclin 2329, Mascoutah 2256 and Franklin Park 2129.  2 of the Lady Bobcats were top 15 with Madison Keller 8^th with a 620 and Kendall Collier 10^th with a 613.
