Edward L. “Butch” Meador, 83, of Centralia, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Centralia Manor surrounded by his family. Butch was a graduate of Centralia High School. He retired from the Fowler Company as a sheet metal worker after 40 years of service.
Visitation for Edward “Butch” Meador will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. A private family prayer service will be held. Butch is survived by his four daughters: Tammy Miller and husband Steve of Centralia, Kathy Wells and husband Bob of Harker Heights, Texas, Lisa Foltz and husband Nick of Centralia, and Melissa Meador of Centralia; five grandchildren: Douglas Holtkamp, Kristen Stedelin and husband Joe, Alex Foltz and wife Samantha, Rachel Smith and husband Joe, and Kylie Foltz; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister: Margie Schroeder and husband Larvin of Chatham, Illinois.
He was born December 10, 1937 in Marion County, Illinois, the son of Ivan Meador and Elaine (Crane) Meador. He married Carolyn J. James on April 27, 1957. He was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Elaine Meador and his wife Carolyn Meador.
