Norma Jean Holtkamp, 90, of Centralia, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Centralia Manor. Norma was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Centralia. Norma was a great family person; she drove players to and from sporting events, and a taxi driver for children and grandchildren. She was active in Teen Town and was a fantastic cook for her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband and family.
A Visitation will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at Friday, March 19, 2021 with Father Steven Pautler officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Centralia. Norma is survived by her three children: Guy Holtkamp and wife Cindy of Centralia, Vince Holtkamp and wife Julie of Centralia, and Mary Ann Holtkamp of Centralia; four grandchildren: Gina Smith and husband Adam of Centralia, Ben Holtkamp and wife Amy of Centralia, Annie Jansen and husband Justin of Jackson, Missouri, and Eric Holtkamp and wife Stephanie of Plant City, Florida; ten great-grandchildren: Estleigh, Ruthie, and Wickam Smith, Bryden and Ainsley Holtkamp, Regan, Kennedy, and Charlize Jansen, and Adrian and Kristine Holtkamp.
She was born May 1, 1930 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Vernon Rex Garren and Mary Ina (Wilson) Garren. She married Stanley Hotlkamp on November 11, 1950 at the St. Mary Church in Centralia and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1997. She was preceded in death by her parents: Vernon and Mary Garren, her husband: Stanley Holtkamp, and a brother: David Garren.
