The Salem Wildcats dropped their season finale to the 10th ranked undefeated Breese Central Cougars 44-33. Caden Bee finished with 16 points to lead Salem. Haddon Lybarger added 8. Brady Moore led the Cougars with 14. The Wildcats honored their 3 seniors before the game, Haddon Lybarger, Donovan Williams, and Trent Boles. The Cats season ends at 4-7 overall and 4-5 in the Cahokia Conference. Central improved to 16-0. Salem also lost the JV game 47 to 38. Salem was led by Kaleb Anthony with 23 points.
North Clay defeated South Central 51 to 43. South Central was led by Keenin Willshire and Aiden Dodson with 13 points apiece and Collin Miller with 12. North Clay was led by Logan Fleener with 25 points. South Central is now 11 and 4 overall and 4-4 in the National Trail Conference. South Central plays Altamont Friday night.
